TDOT Region 3 Temporary Road Closure Request

The online application has been designed to guide you through the planning and permitting requirements that need to be met to ensure a safe road closure with minimal impacts. This application is for Region 3 requests only. 

Utility Companies must submit lane closures for any work associated with a TDOT utility permit or maintenance on their equipment.

Submission Deadline

All completed requests must be submitted by Monday at 23:59 each week for the next week's work Sunday - Saturday. If your project requires additional time beyond that work week, you must submit a new request for the next period of time.  Each period of time runs Sunday - Saturday and requests for lane closures are due on Monday by 23:59.
